Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme. Kristin is dedicated to its motto and values; progress with vision, integrity and love.
We seek an innovative leader to provide leadership and guidance for students in digital learning. You will work with teaching staff to develop and make recommendations for using digital tools, to enhance classroom practice. Kristin utilises various tools, including the Canvas learning management system, to provide a consistent infrastructure for staff and students. The Junior School has Apple Distinguished status and runs an iPad programme. You will encourage teachers to be creative and innovative while providing consistency across faculties and year groups. Exploring and researching available tools ensures Kristin is at the forefront of innovation in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the leadership team to provide strategic advice on digital literacy
- Keep Kristin at the ‘leading edge” with innovative digital solutions
- Provide support and guidance to teachers to provide consistency
- Monitor the effectiveness and integrity of digital policies and procedures
- Ensure professional development is provided as needed
- Champion change and drive for excellence across the School.
