Kindergarten Teacher

Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It educates over 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Term 1, 2026. As a Kindergarten Teacher you will have expertise in tailoring the educational experience to ensure every child can achieve their best and provide exceptional pastoral care. You will be responsible for a select group of children and the classroom programme, which integrates early Math, literacy, social emotional development and creativity through a kinaesthetic, engaging, inquiry approach through an inquiry approach, supported by the latest research about the Science of Learning and Structured Literacy.

This role requires a NZ Registered teacher who has:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents
- A commitment to support our co-curricular programme
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team
- Enthusiasm for technology
- A great sense of humour.
IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) prior experience is not required, with successful candidates provided with professional development, including attending training outside of school hours.
