Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme. Offering both NCEA and International Baccalaureate programmes, our special character school was founded by parents more than 50 years ago. Reporting to the Head of Inclusive Learning, this role is responsible for supporting neurodivergent students within a mainstream classroom programme. The role works both one-on-one and with small groups within the classroom environment. The hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm on Monday and 8.30am to 3.30pm Tuesday to Friday. This is a term time only role.
The role commences 15 January 2025 to facilitate a comprehensive induction process. Please note the successful candidate will be required to attend Camp Week in February 2025.

The ideal candidates will bring the following skills and experience:
- Teacher Aide/ Learning Assistant experience with adolescents
- Ability to understand and work with students who have learning difficulties and/or different learning styles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google docs/Gmail
