Teaching Assistant - Early Learning Centre

  • Permanent part-time
  • 28 hours per week
  • Located within Kristin School in Albany

Role and experience

We are looking for a part-time teaching assistant to support the teachers with the delivery of care and learning for children in our Early Learning Centre, Little Doves.  You will be committed to building positive, professional relationships with colleagues, children, and families, and have the passion and drive to help us create an outstanding early learning centre in which children, families and teachers can thrive. The hours are Monday 9.30am - 4.00pm and Tuesday to Friday 9.30am – 3.00pm and you are also required to attend staff meetings and professional learning on Monday evenings 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Ideally you would have experience working in an early childhood centre or in an environment working with young children. Importantly, you will be able to demonstrate commitment to Kristin's values to "Progress with Vision, Integrity and Love".

Nestled in the grounds of Kristin School, Little Doves Early Learning Centre is a haven for exploration, learning and play for our very youngest children.

Set in stunning landscaped gardens, in an architecturally designed building, Little Doves ELC welcomes children from the age of 6 months, with a licence for 75 children across three room.

Professional, passionate, and caring teachers nurture children through the crucial early years, culminating with a seamless transition into our well-established Kindergarten at the age of 4. Here they will encounter a programme that continues to feed their natural curiosity while preparing them for success at school.

Little Doves ELC shares the beliefs and vision of the whole school, including a commitment to personalised care and attention within a secure and tranquil environment, and specialised staff dedicated to children’s holistic education and wellbeing.

Benefits & Culture

Offering state-of-the-art facilities and generous resourcing, Little Doves ELC is committed to delivering exceptional early learning and care for young children. You will enjoy a welcoming, friendly environment, a commitment to your professional development and a supportive leadership team. Kristin offers a competitive remuneration package, 4 weeks’ annual leave and other well-being incentives.
